This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work for BaseRally.
1. Subscription Plans
BaseRally offers annual subscription plans:
- Solo Campaign: $50/year - For individual candidates running for office
- Campaign Firm: $90/year - For campaign management firms
- Lobbying Firm: $90/year - For lobbying firms
All plans include full access to BaseRally features with no artificial limitations.
2. Free Trial
New organizations receive a 14-day free trial:
- Full access to all features during the trial period
- No charge if you cancel before the trial ends
- Payment method required to start trial (to ensure seamless service after trial)
- You will be charged on day 15 unless you cancel
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancel from your Account Settings page
- Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time (except as noted below)
- You can export your data for 30 days after cancellation
4. Refund Policy
4.1 General Policy
We generally do not provide refunds for subscription fees. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period begins.
4.2 Exceptions
We may provide refunds at our discretion in the following cases:
- Extended service outage: If BaseRally is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly
- First-time subscribers: Within 7 days of your first payment, if you're not satisfied
- Technical issues: If a critical feature doesn't work as documented and we can't resolve it
4.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@baserally.com
- Include your account email and reason for the request
- We will respond within 2 business days
Refunds, if approved, are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
5. Plan Changes
5.1 Upgrading
If you upgrade to a higher-priced plan:
- Change takes effect immediately
- You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period
5.2 Downgrading
If you downgrade to a lower-priced plan:
- Change takes effect at your next billing date
- No refund for the current period
6. Account Deletion
To permanently delete your account:
- Request deletion from Account Settings or email us
- 30-day grace period to change your mind
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted
- Some data may be retained for legal compliance (financial records for 7 years)
7. Beta Period Transition
Users who joined during our beta period:
- Receive a grace period before billing begins
- Will be notified before any charges occur
- Can cancel during the grace period with no charge
